As a member there are opportunities to take part in a wide variety of roles, from acting to help manage the EPPiC Theatre. For example; build the sets and paint the scenery, control sound and lighting, prompt, source furniture and props, mash tea, maintain the theatre, design publicity, provide admin and IT support.
- Roles are generally shared among the members. You don’t have to be an expert in any particular field as most of us have learnt on the job.
- We aim to stage three productions a year and regular rehearsals are held every Monday and Wednesday from 7.30pm to 10.00pm.
- Owning and maintaining our own theatre has its responsibilities as well as its advantages.
- We have an Open Theatre/Coffee Morning every Saturday from 10am until noon in the lounge, which serves as a meeting place for members and for the local community.
- We have a maintenance team that attends to the upkeep of the theatre both inside and out.
- All members are encouraged to be part of either or both teams.
The information you supply will only be used for maintaining records, communicating with you and for society promotion and administration records. We will never pass your information to unconnected third parties.
